Terms of membership

• Membership does not give you any rights; rather it is YOUR SUPPORT to the aims and objectives of the Council.
• Membership charges are Rs. 5000 plus GST as per Government notification (at present 18%). This is subject to change without notice.
• Any person or entity can be a member of the Council. Basic information required: address, email address & occupation (SERVICE or BUSINESS). Mobile number and other details are requested but not compulsory.
• You must inform us by email of your correct address within 7 days of any change. If your address is found wrong or incomplete, your membership will automatically be considered cancelled without notice; in case of inadvertent error the matter shall be reviewed by the Board of Directors.
• Membership once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances. If the Council has made an inadvertent error to your disadvantage, at maximum your membership can be extended by one year.
• Each member is given a unique membership number by email or post. If you do not receive one, please ask via email.
• Memberships taken on or before 2023 are valid till December 2024. Memberships taken after 2024 are valid for one year from the date of issue of the membership certificate.
• The membership certificate is an added proof of membership. Once payment is made, if there is no correspondence from the council within one week of the amount being credited, your membership stands confirmed.
• Complaints lodged in writing or via email are replied to within 30 working days. If unsatisfied, you may request a personal hearing with the Board of Directors; minutes shall be prepared, signed by the Board members present, and given to you.
• Promotion councils and other trade bodies can become members for Rs. 1 lakh per year, with membership applying to each of their members as validated in writing by IRC within 15 days of receipt of the member list.
• One-time membership fees can be paid for a maximum period of 3 years.
• In case of any dispute, the Board of Directors' decision shall be final. Legal jurisdiction shall be that of Delhi only.
